A hint for solving any issues or errors with your BB
Since everyone hear encounters the same issue (usually) as someone already had, the best way to find the solution is to do a "Search" through the forums for the answer (as you would a google search), and if you can't find the solution...Then start a thread, and ask away

Thanks stackers. Well i searched the boards and no luck. Do you have any suggestions on how to clear the voicemail icon when there are no voice messages of any kind?

Are you 100% sure it's the VM icon?

Well I looked in the user manual and saw the exact same icon listed as a vm. It looks like a small cassette. Remember those?

You can call yourself from another phone and leave a message and then check it. Then it should go away.

You can try also the good old batt-pull: Pull the battery out of the BB without switching the device off, wait ten til 30 seconds, put the battery back and hope that every issues are gone to the digital nirvana

Calling my vm and leaving a vm then deleting it worked. I hope that's not a routine issue. Thanks a lot for the help.

yeah it's not usual it happens sometimes. Your BB just gets confused sometimes.
