service books
your phone needs them.
you can get them three ways
1) log in to your BIS account and resend (same place you set up all those emails)
2) from the personal email setup icon on your bb
3) call your carrier and hope that you get a csr that knows what you are talking about and ask them to resend your service books to your bb...

the service books are what determine the provisioning of your service. your provider pushes them down to your device. look at options... advanced options... service books

you can delete them and then have them resent. they can be resent from your carrier's BIS site or by options... advanced options... host routing tables... menu button... register now, i believe.

options/advanced options/host routing table
click menu and choose register now
i think i've had to do that before too after an upgrade...its been awhile

the cover on the red pearl (bat cover) seems to be in "tighter" than the one on the black pearl.

diatribe - where are you on the install?

to ANYONE doing this download, i'd guess that it takes minimum 45 minutes to download/install to pc/reboot/install to bb...MINIMUM...so be patient
