Great guide. Would anyone know if there is a shortcut to deleting messages? I would love to have just one button to hit that would delete messages instead of having to select the message and scroll.

Make sure your 8100 is connected to your computer. Open your desktop manager and click on Mediamanager. Then click on media card and open it's submenu. On the left hand side of the screen find your mp3 playlist, click the song you want ( make sure the sub menu you want is highlighted on the right). The song will be copied to the media storage card. Hope this helps!

Anyone using a Bluetooth GPS with the 8100 yet, and if so, is it worth doing? I'm trying to decide whether to just get a TomTom Go, but would be nice if it worked well enough on my pearl.

The newly released "leather" Pearl case works quite good but one has to know that to have it automatically go into "sleep" mode, one has to put it in upside down with the screen facing inwards towards your belt. When the top flap (with magnet) closes, it also puts the Pearl into the proper sleep mode so that it functions properly for your settings of "in the holster" or "out of holster"

First time Blackberry guy. Just got the Pearl - I love it. I have a Mac Powerbook and just wondering if anyone has successfully synced the Pearl with their mac. Any suggestion? Third party software? Thanks in advance

There is lots of 3rd party software check our downloads section and also check www.mobile.blackberry.com there are a few themes for the 8100 from plazmic there also

Duesouthpro, you can sync your pearl with pocket Mac when a version becomes available. I know that it wasn't available when the pearl was released a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure about now. You can follow up at www.pocketmac.com.
