Blackberry Pearl 8100 Bugs/Errors Report Page

In accessing a .mov media file on a 1Gig SanDisk mini-SD card the movie plays for 10-15 seconds very jerkily, with sound out of synch with video (sound plays, video stutters) and then the whole system reboots.
Anyone else get this issue? Could be the card, but how does one test?

If my phone is in standby and I receive a voicemail, I cannot pull the phone out of standby, I have to take out the battery and restart it to use the phone again. The red indicator light continues to blink, but I can't use the phone.

I am using the Rogers upgrade.

hey Guys, My name is Lucas. I am a first time BB user and am getting used to the BB pearl. This site is great for me since this time is the first time with a BB.I am glad to be a part of this site.

I have already experienced some issues with the phone only in my second day. Any info/suggestions you guys might have for me in terms of fixing these bugs? I have had the ringer on full blast and no ringing when i got calls. My voice dailing would not work. I had to take out the battery.

The major issue im experiencing now is that my half of my buddy list on AIM is missing.? Does anyone know why? Thanks

I am getting a error when transferin a mp3 to the phone at the end of the progress on the Media Manager. An error occurred transfering............... to the bb device. bb device returned the following error: General error

Have you installed Desktop Manager (DM) 4.2 on you PC? Have you tried to transfer the MP3 file with the Media Manager App in DM 4.2? Do you have a microSD memory chip in you Pearl?

as the guy previously said before. i fixed this by turning off the phone by taking the battery out and putting it back in. for some reason, even tho my profile was set to LOUD & Activated.. it still didnt get any rings, and when attempted to dial a phone call, it just went straight to the voicemail and i didnt hear any ringing sound. weird.

Same error as blatino720: NEED HELP -> "I inserted a SanDisk 1.0GB Micro SD card and now my BBPearl says App Error 523 and forces me to choose the reset option everytime it tries to booth... I took the Micro card out and even the battery and tried it without the card and it still doesn the same thing. Is it broken? This is only day #5"

Minor: More of a suggestion, they (or a 3rd party app) should let you send SMS messages to an entire category. it's a pain to go through your address book and have to add everyone from a category to a "group" in your address book, just so you can send all of your friends, or everyone in your office a SMS.

If I've overlooked something here, please please please share the ability to do this. Now I add someone to my address book, and have to also add them to a group, and specify what category they should go into.

I found a problem when I was using the 'BB Dimension Zen" theme.

I noticed that if you hide all your applications and deselect "show all", then you will get a JVM 523 ERROR.

I had to reload the handheld OS again to resolve the problem.

I have not tried this again and I don't recommend anyone hiding all their apps, but has this happened to anyone else??
