Used internet. Pushed red button to stop use. Turned off phone. When turned back on error message on screen

Uncaught execption: java.lang.nullpointe Rexecption.

Then after this voice dialing hungup and stopped working. Would not work from side button or launch from menu. Other proiblem, holding 1 down should call voicemail, but asked to enter speed dial number, after taking battery out while phone on, seems to function ok now. voice dialing started up again.


Using internet and terminating internet use by pushing the red button, then put phone in stand by mode using button on top of phone then pushed to turn back on and received

error 523 with reset on screen. Then forced to reset phone.

I found an issue when creating an SMS Text message where the "Change Recipient" option does not actually change the recipient listed. Once this had failed, I added recipients and all of the recipients were listed as the original recipient! I then saved as a draft, and it correctly showed all of the recipients.

mp3 ringtones wont stop ringing until entire song is finished when receiving any message, even when buttons are pushed to stop the ring. (text, bb messenger, email....)

1. The device supports 2gb cards but has an issue of freezing when inserted, hopefully fixed in an update, but currently no work around.

2. The device has GPS but needs a Bluetooth GPS receiver.

3. The device supports 2.5 mm headsets only, you need an adapter to use headsets for music and videos.

4. If the device is locked by holding * or. Put into sleep mode by briefly pressing the mute button, and some calls while the phone is in a pocket or coat etc. The track ball is so sensitive that the slightest movement of it mutes your ringer increasing missed calls. This is solved by 2 things, on the back of your 8100 there is two copper tabs that put it into sleep mode like previous blackberry devices (the in and out of holster stuff). So a case is needed. The one we sell Currently if inserted upside down will work great, but not the best solution.

5. The mic has a slight delay in it, just enough to notice.

On the home screen, typing in a name and selecting to send and SMS or Email message, the phone gets stuck in the number format, you have to manually change the format to suretype. Kind of makes the shortcut obsolete.

i have noticed the problem with the track ball muting calls. one way to fix t his problem is to go into the settings and adjust its sensativity... i have mine at 60/70... and it solved the ringer silence problem... might not be a total solution but its a solution!! WAH HOO!

My Voice Dial application is not working(via shortcut key or directly open it from apps menu).
I turned off my phone and its still not working.
Finally I took out the battery and it's working again.

I can not wait for firmware upgrade!!!

while trying to connect my bluetooth foldable keyboard by think outside (worked perfectly with my 7105t) connects to bluetooth then immediately this error code comes up.

anyone get this? anyone have any solutions for this error? thanks for any help.

have you tried to delete the device and reinstall? maybe go into the "bluetoothed" device and change the encription method?

Missed call notification will not go away. I cleared my missed calls and now I have an astrix by my call log and a missed call notification and my call log is empty. Any help out there

Blackberry Messager
Long and active conferences will eventually several lag possibly even locking up the device. In one such case I had to remove the battery to return to normal operation.

ALL the audibles - ringer, ball, dialpad, ringtone when u dial someone - these are all muted until you turn off the phone and remove the battery! This is an AWFUL bug for those who use the hands free device a lot. I have to reboot the blackberry at least twice a day. I havent found a sure-fire way to reproduce this bug - but it involves the hands free - will post it when i find it. Changing profiles does nothing to fix this. the only thing that works is a hard reboot with the battery out!
