I had initial trouble with this OS on my tmo 8100. It was hella bad and sucked the battery life big time. It crashed and rebooted every 5 or 10 minutes. Once I got my BES to update it was all good. It's been stable and running well. No dropped calls and quick browser. Now to try the .101 update!

Hi, guys

Thanks for the links! They came to be invaluable last night in rescuing my pearl from an Error 523!

I managed to re-flash my pearl, but I lost all of my userdata. That's minor though. The walkthroughs were brilliant and my pearl is now breathing again!

Hello everybody! I am about to receive my new BB curve. I live in Mexico City and the newest BB model here is the 8100 pearl... The vendor told me that I wont have any problem in activating my Curve on the BIS.... I read at the beggining of this tread that Telcel in Mexico is using the v4.2.0.79 (Multilanguage) for the Pearl... If my Curve uses a 4.2.X.X.X will it work on the Telcel´s network? or should I install the v4.2.0.79 on the Curve (the same as the pearl) to make it function properly? Thank you for answering!!! I am very excited about my new BB!

When I Was Using The Application Loader , I "accidentally" Deleted Some Language Files From My Black Berry Pearl And Now When I Try To Open My Picture Files N Ringtone Files And Such It Says "unable To Display File/device Memory/...." . I Was Told Im Suupse To Download The Pearl Os Software Update But When I Click The Link On This Forum And Download The File, It Says " Unable To Read Installer File" Or Something Like That And Nothing Happens. Am I Doing Something Wrong? I Need Help Please!

I downloaded the AT&T version and the next day I couldn't send or receive pictures for roughly 24 hours. Other friends didn't have the problem.

Also I had a strange deal yesterday, July 22nd, where I was viewing my "agenda" view in my calendar and when I selected to go to "today" it took me to June 29th ... every time ... even after removing the battery. Today it's working ok, though.

I also downloaded a theme the other day that loaded as an application. I've since deleted it in case it was the culprit, but do downloaded themes typically load as apps?
