I would be WAY psyched if Nextel got it, but I'm not counting on it. I'd be happy if Sprint got it. Either way I wouldn't have to pay the termination fee on my contract, which is only about 6 months old. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Let the details come rolllllllllin in. I can't wait to hear more. Will you be able to email files stored on th SD card? What's the megapixel of the camera? 1.3? 2.0? Is the processor faster? I'm sure all this will come out before this is released. This is the reason I switched to TMO, so I wouldn't have to totally temper my enthusiasm about new models because I would have to wait 6 months or more to get them, and have other drooling about the next one, before I even get the old one I know, shoot me, I'm a crackberry!

There's no reason to believe that this release will be different. DAMN! This phone will not be rolled out on Nextel...but I will wait. 1: I love that it is suretype. 2: I love how sleek it looks. 3: Camera...cool, i'll use it infrequently. 4: Expansion slot??? I didn't see one. I saw the sim holder, but didn't catch the expansion. 5: Please Nextel...sometime this year. |

I can't see Nexthell coming out with this phone since they are trying to phase out the "iDen" network... but it doesn't hurt to dream

As can be seen, it is a T-Mobile version...so most likely the first to roll out with this device. Also, I think that BlackBerry is getting rid of the thumbwheel because of fear of "BlackBerry Thumb" lawsuits. There is no way that the joystick can flip through messages as fast as the thumbwheel...but maybe it exerts less stress on the thumb joint. The primary cause of pain in a BlackBerry users thumb is from clicking the thumbwheel in that semi-awkward position. |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ While I agree that if there are injuries, there are leetches to try an sue, but do you really think BB thumb? Its an inherent risk, no different than using a mouse or keyboard has inherent risk for carpal tunnel. Just my $.02. |

Oh yeah, and iDEN is not being phased out, Nextel TDMA is being phased out. iDEN will still rule on other parts of the world, its just because Sprint and Nextel that US iDEN is going away. |

Why in the second picture with the ruler does it say "T-Mobile" at the bottom of the phone, but on the screen of the phone in picture 6 it say's "Cingular"? Any thoughts? ![]() |

Because it's got a Cingular SIM in it. The little red triangle means it's roaming.
