I have a BB 8100 originally T-Mobile and now unlocked to work on ATT, does anyone know how to remove T-Mobile splash screen on startup?

| Re: How To: Stop Disappearing SMS/MMS/E-mail/Call Logs
My home email synch with my Pearl stopped the other night. I got a text from BB saying that...... "this email is no longer accessible via your device. ...likely caused by a recent change to the PW used to access this account." The problem is, nothing has changed w/ any of my PWs. I already logged into my Cing/AT&T acct and everything seems fine. Should I try the fixes at the head of this thread? My last update, I think, was the DST patch. Little help? |

if u log into www.mycingular.blackberry.com and log into ur bis account. click on edit on th e mail account that shows an envelope witha red x over it and says not validated and then save changes, this will revalidate your account and on the left side u will see a menu, locate service books and send teh service books to the device, this will start making ypur e mails coming through.. hope it helps!!!! |

I think it will, that was what we needed was some one on AT&T to discribe the system. I didn't think it would be TOO differant. Thanks! |

also if you are short on memory, the pearl has about 10 languages installed you probably dont use. u can either go to advanced options and aplications and delete them or do it through the aplication loader on you desktop

Simply pulling the battery (doing a soft reset) resolves the issue but only temporarily... Changing the reserved memory allocation will fix it perminately Go Into media then choose any folder in there for arguments sake lets choose music while in the music folder press the menu key and choose options Change the Device Memory Limit to 12MB Change the Reserved Pictures memory to 5MB this free's up 13MB of reserved space the defaults are to large... this has been fixed in the 4.2.1.66 software version the other reason that it is happening is the Language files that were not supposed to be installed by default... on newer versions there not thus freeing up room for things you do need. ![]() |
