well i was having the same problems and went ahead and called TMO, the guy told me that it does that when your phone is low on its internal memory, so he took me true a step, go to options, than advance options, than applications, he told me to delete the languages that i wasent using, so i did all i kept on there was SPANISH, and ENGLISH because those are the two that i use, well the deal is i havent ran into that problem again, so hopefully that could also help some other people out!

This always works when I help customers. First - backup all their data. Next - do a wipe handheld. Then - Restore, by doing an advanced restore. Only restore data that you need. (address book, calendar, etc.) Then - go into the applications, (Options> Advanced Options> Applications>) and delete the languages that they do not need. Then - delete sample video in Applications, show how to clear event log periodically, and to close out of all applicatiosn. (Menu> Close.) Finally - GET A MEMORT CARD! |

My Blackberry screen just turned white. I tried doing a reset by taking the battery out and back in again but again the screen remains white. Anyone else come across this issue? Cingular told me that they will ship me a new phone. I'm just afraid the same thing will happen again.

All of these suggestions are great- Thanks to all the contributers. I found that jp2d's info has worked very well with the memory. Especially for anyone running 4.2.0.64. |

^^ booger ^^ because the only thing that is saved on the media card is media (not apps) and if you are running an earlier version of the pearl OS, then it was known to have memory leaks (bugs) that were fixed with the newer os |

If I delete the language applications, what happens? What are the applications for? If one day I want them back, can I redownload them from somewhere?
