Fix: BlackBerry Manager stops responding after using a BlackBerry as a tethered modem

If your BlackBerry device is not password-protected, the following problems may occur if you use the BlackBerry device as a tethered modem for your computer:
    • BlackBerry Device Manager stops detecting the BlackBerry device when connecting and disconnecting the USB cable.
    • BlackBerry Device Manager does not shut down properly.
    Resolution
Create a password for the BlackBerry device before using it as a tethered modem.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~when I originally setup mypearl as a tethered modem I had a password. I have since taken the pasword off. Seen no problems w dtm other than still asking for a pasword all the time. Wish there were a way to have BB password protected and store the password on the computer so it doesn't ask for it when I plug in. This is the reason why I took it off in the first place.
