Where do you set your blackberry to erase its data if 10 attempts are made at the password? That is pretty sweet -- of course I can see that back firing quick with an inquisitive friend or something of that nature

As long as your device is password protected, it automatically will happen if they put in a wrong password 10x

Re: Important Information to ALWAYS Keep

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com) hi everyone, was wondering if its possible to have the security lock on 30 mins in case I lose or its stolen but still let me key lock without having to type it every time? Its a hassle every 5mins having to type the password again cause I don't like leaving my bb unlocked so I don't start making phonecalls in my pocket.

stuffbak.com

i'm not sure if this would help that much unless there's a huge red sticker that says, "REWARD for lost phone!" on it... but if you had a huge red sticker on your mobile, wouldn't that turn off all the girls?

otherwise, all the other information was sweet!

I think there is a "reward" on the sticker. You could also purchase the stickers at any 'tech-outlet store' near you. Look around the gadget/phone section. ALSO... I was a tad thrown off by the posting title: "Important information to always keep." Shouldn't it be called "in case you lose your phone...stick THIS on." Just a thought. Although, if there were any kind of important info that I should keep on my blackberry are the numbers of restaurants that your interested in when ever you want to go out on a business lunch or meeting up with friends. Another would be Taxi cab numbers. I spent a good weekend hunting down some numbers to store on my blackberry, I mean wouldn't it be cool to have an entire phone directory in your blackberry? You wouldn't even need to look on the internet or 411, save those minutes and WAP delays. Always on top of the game. Restaurant reservations? Forget-about-it! it's done! Next...

Status indicates signal, battery, file free, pin#, and imei#.
The imei# should also be on the handset under your battery
