    Vista bluetooth PC connectivity

I've read a couple of posts[*] about this but no-one has posted a solution. Basically I'm running Vista Ultimate on a Sony Vaio SZ4VWN/X (Toshiba Bluetooth stack) and the bluetooth works superbly with the one exception of the Desktop Manager which has greyed out the Enable bluetooth checkboxes.

Any pointers on how to enable them? I'm running 4.2 SP2.

    TIA

    Re: Vista bluetooth PC connectivity

The reason the Desktop software has the Bluetooth groped out is because it only supports Microsoft Bluetooth drivers. I'm using Vista Business and had the sameissue. What I did was uninstall the Bluetooth from my Samsung Q1P and rebooted and let the Microsoft Bluetooth drivers install. Once [ did that I double clicked on the BT icon and added the BB to Vista. Then Opened Desktop Manager and I was able to sync with BT with BB.

Hmm thanks ElCamino, I did try that but Vista couldn't find drivers for the built in bluetooth adaptor, I'll give it another go.
