| desktop manager won't recognize
I have followed all of your steps but I am stuck at #6 where it keeps telling me that the device is not found. My computer recognizes that the Blackberry is connected but DM does not. I have the latest DM and BB software installed. Any suggestions? Thanks. I also installed the JL_Cmder program but it could not find the device when I attempted to wipe it. |

have you tried running the app loader without trying to 'find' the device? i have never tried reinstalling the way N8 says. I wiped my device using the JL_Cmder and then launched the app loader from DM. someone with more experience will come along shortly.*bump* |

how can i know carrier i am i have blackberry7100v and i have the error 507 . id do the steps and wipe my handheld and i want to istall a new os pleas any body help me........ |

your carrier would be who you pay your bill to? once you have wiped the handheld, download the new OS (from your carriers website) or here: http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...s_carrier.html to your PC, install it on your pc and then run the app loader on desktop manager. |

Help! I can not find the device software for my Nextel piece of S**t 7100i that I just had replaced. I keep getting the JVM error 102 message, it's thanksgiving weekend and I leave for a business trip on Sunday. I do not have a home phone and I'm seriously lacking in my communication abilities at the moment! I'm about to jump out my window! Could you help please? I can't download OS from T-Mobile my computer does not allow me to do so since it does not have an authentic signature I dont know how to fix that.

Romina, Welcome to PinStack. Are you saying it won't let you download the file to your PC or that you can't execute the downloaded exe file? What Device are you using? It will really help us help you if you take the time to fill in your PinStack Profile with the information concerning your device. Model, OS and Platform (Found on Options/About), BES Status, Location, and Carrier. Depending on the question, each of these may have an impact on how we respond.
