Yes, thanks much. Upgrade on 7100g went flawlessly by following your concise steps. Now I look forward to see if I have address list and outbound dialing capability from my BMW BT install.

I have a 7100t. It made my volume louder for ringtones. I can pick a tune for a person in my address book. Oh plus the cool themes. I am sure I'm leaving something out. ~~Posted via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~~ |

~~Posted via SUPA BB (wap.pinstack.com)~~ I think it also let's you use bluetooth to connect to DM and it is more compatable with bluetooth car kits. Now you can transfer your address book to your BT car kit. People were having problems with doing that before this upgrade. |

WOW! This is awesome!. Don't forget to input your APN, (wap.voicestream.com),or what ever you APN is, in the advanced TCP options, or none of your apps that access data will work! eg. Ramble ot BBtoday. Peace! Last edited by mybuzz; 02-15-2006 at 10:22 PM. |

OK.... So I have a 7290 on Optus in Australia.. I would like to Upgrade to 4.1 but want to ask a question first for anyone who can enlighten me (long time crackberry user, first time forumer) When I install this new OS will it delete all my GPRS settings which work with my BB or is that what deleting the vendor.xml file will do? Will I still be able to access my carrier's home page (Optus Zoo) as per the software that came preinstalled.. Anyone who can shed some light will be greatly appreciated. D |

OKAY!! I have BB 7105t I recently upgraded to the 4.1 OS...but I kept losing my email/call log and missed calls.... I tried everything reboot..taking the SIM card out...and wiping the handheld all this worked maybe from a couple of hours to a day...finally I decided to go back to 4.0 OS because it was getting annoying when you missed a call and go to view it says NO CALLS...bummer plus I think I was becoming a royal pain to fellow stackers requesting help....:ahh: Anywho I have noticed that even though I am back to 4.0 I still have all the cool features of 4.1 Loud volume, adding individual ringtones, all apps I loaded still work all Themes I loaded for 4.1 still works...hoorah...so all in all dont know if it's a bug or a temporary situation..but it is day 3 and everything still the same...my call logs and emails dont go ghost on me anymore...but just thought I would share....thanks |

I don't think you were the only person with the 7105t that has had problems with it. Which is wierd, I have the 7100t and it worked fine, no problems at all.
