Yes go into options/advanced options/security/general settings hit menu and select wipe handheld. This will make it like it just came out of the box.

the themes is the biggest reason i want to upgrade!

    Blockhead,

Depending on what you want to accomplish, if you plan on re-installing the operating system another alternative is to wipe your device with JL_Cmder. This will remove everything INCLUDING THE OPERATING SYSTEM from your device. For more info and How To instructions follow the link in My Blog (below).

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~Ugh!!!! I'm still lost. It seems like I can download the 4.5 os to my PC, but when I try to upgrade my phone. It just restores my 4.2 OS. Is it ATT or am I overlooking something?

This might sound like a stupid question but after downloading the OS did you run it so it installed on your PC?

jason did you download the OS and execute it? Also you need to delete any previous versions of BB OS off the PC using Add/Remove programs.

I did actually download it. ( No... That's not a stupid question ) it took me 3 tries to remember to do that. But what I didn't do is remove the old OS's from my P.C. I'll try that when I get home. Thanks Lavagirl and Modercowboy. Unfortunatley I'm at work til 3:00am. I did back up this OS, just in case I screw up. Thanks again Yall. I'll try not to be pesky and bothersome anymore.
