Is there anyway to move something from the app folder to the front page screeen to avoid having to go into 'apps' everytime I want to run my admin tools?

No, but there are themes that do not have the Apps folder, Check out the different themes in Options/Themes.

Hiding the icons is a kool feature. Especially if you have a snooping girlfriend like Inspector Gadget. To bad you can't hide the main message folder

Is there anyway to organize things into folders? Even going so far to create or modify a theme or anything?

Re: How to: Hide and show Home screen icons

Welcome to the Stacks dilipc !!

This is actually easier with the Pearl, just highlight icon with trackball, click menu button( left of trackball) select hide.

To bring Icons back up, click menu button and select and click "show all"
To move icons click menu button and select and click "move application" (Top 5 icons will appear on your home screen.)

    Hope this helps, Gaz

    MattBicknell, Welcome to PinStack.

No, you can move them around on the screen but you can't move them into or out of the Applications folder. Sorry.

Re: How to: Hide and show Home screen icons

i mistakenly installed BB messenger when it was already installed in my bb. now, it's not showing up among the icons, but it's listed in the applications. when i do the steps set forth here, the drop down menu indicates that the option listed is "show all".

    any ideas?

When does this occur. The messages being deleted is usually related to low memory. And the loss pa browser icon is usually related to losing the service books. I only know of one instance of a message icon disappearing and the user of that device is unavailable for a couple of days.

What do you do to get the icons back? When the icons disappear, do the apps still show up on the active app ribbon?
