Re: How To: Erase all the data and applications on the BlackBerry device

Let's say I have a user that had their BB activated for the Enterprise. It downloads emails to the BB. Then the next day they type in the password wrong 10 times and removes everything.

I then reactivate the device. It only gets emails from the second activation. How do i get the previous emails?

You won't unless the BB was backup up. It will only sync new emails. So you'll have to resend as Melissa says from the MS Exchange our Lotus admin area.

Another way is to remove the user from the BES, add again and reactivate. It should do the pre-population all over again.

You have to manually remove that program using Desktop Manager. The wipe function DOES NOT delete the whole handheld.

Pull out the battery and restart it. See what happens next. That would be what I would do.

Re: How To: Erase all the data and applications on the BlackBerry device

The error comes up when as soon as your BB boots up or after you try to do something?
