| Guide to: Saving Contacts to a Sim Card
1. Open your address and scroll to the person you want to save and click the trackwheel. 2. Scroll to "view" on your menu and bring up that contact. 3. When the contact info is opened, scroll down to the telephone number you want to save. IMPORTANT: If you do NOT scroll down to the number, then you will NOT be able to see the option in the next step! 4. When you get to the number, click the trackwheel again. 5. A menu will pop up and at the top of that menu you will see "Cope To Sim Phonebook". 6. Scroll to that and click your trackwheel. 7. You will now see the name and number of that person under the title "Phone Book Entry". 8. Click "Save". 9. The information is now saved to your Sim Card. Any questions or problems, like always I am avaliable. Just pin or email me. N8 |

N8DBB, you read my post about how I make the copy to sim option appear? Any idea why I must do that? Ive talked to BB Support and they say its normal with 7100i BB's to not have the option. Weird huh? Thanks for this how-to, Im sure this will help many folks!

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~7100i are on Nextell right? These phones are mike and mike phones automatically save your phone books entry on the sim card... At least this way it works with telus mobility in Canada.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~This may be an odd question, but what advantage is there in saving numbers to the SIM card?

The question I have is this, can't you copy multiple contacts at once from the phone to the sim?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ YES, can you copy out phone book to SIM Card?? Also awhile back I had to upgrade my SIM card, I believe I had an older model with a low capacity. Has there been another SIM upgrade?? I've had the same card for close to 4 years I think. Btw can BB handle, 1. Copy SIM card to address book 2. Copy SIM to a new sim |

Speaking for Nextel, since that is what I have.... Newer version BB's can do sim to phone, phone to sim, and sim to sim transfers. Older versions you had to load them with Outlook or another program. |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I have 8700g, and I can copy one at a time to the sim, or all of them from sim to phone. But no way can I figure out how to copy all to the sim at once. |

How can I copy contacts from my Nokia 8800 Sirroco to my BB Pearl 8100 using Bluetooth. Copying contacts to Nokia SIM and then changing SIMs does not work. |
