    Found it in a box of crap here at the office...I know a decent amount about computers but have no idea what this is. I have some guesses, but I am probably wrong...

    Anyone?

    No, its about 1 1/4" wide by 2" long...has a port on the end.

    Also, by the way:

    15 PIN port and I know there are no pics of the bottom, but it doesn't have anything on the bottom, so it doesn't plug in anyhere...Obviously whatever it is has to be wired through the 1-15 "docks" or bays or whatever you want to call them.

    N8, it looks like a terminal block to DB-15 converter. A google search for the part number printed on it lead to a single hit for a link to a PDF manual for a "Mobile Digital 4-Channel Video Recorder". and in it, there is described an board that is provided to allow alarm sensors to be put on each camera, This is associated with the part no shown.

    Now that I see the comparison and dimensions, could it be a drive that holds either a floppy disk or a CD that you can save data to?
