    Next Big Purchase

I would like a little help, although many of you have no experience with this at all. I'm due for an upgrade on my manual chair within 2 years. I have decided I want a chair built from either titanium or aluminum (much lighter than the chair I have now).

I already have the customization list sorted out (I love to personalize my chairs LOL). The problem is that I've got 4 rigid frame chairs to choose from (Aero Z, ZR, ZRA, and Evo) and I'm not quite sure which one to get although I think I know which one I want (TiLite Evo, the cheapest chair before customization).

Follow this link http://www.tilite.com/ and click on TiLite Rigid (first one from left to right on the home page). Then browse through each and let me know which one I should get.

Eric, I'm sorry, even after reading through all your options, I wouldn't even begin to know how to help you with a recommendation. Have you been able to talk to anyone that has used these. Go with their advice, or your own analysis as you're the one that's going to use it.

    Sorry, I couldn't help more

I've seen one (but not the exact model I want), and I know most people wouldn't be able to help with which one is the best but I just thought I'd ask anyway.

    Erica,

My sister in law has the Evo, and she really likes that it's fully adjustable for those bad days and my brother can adjust the seat for her to make her most comfortable. and the fact that it's easily portable is a big plus. If you have a major medical supply company in your area, they should have models of these or very very similar ones for you to try out. I suggest that, but IMO, and my sister in laws, go for the EVO.

Jade, thanks. That's what I needed to hear. I've seen the ZRA also and I kinda like it (except for the way the front wheels stick out to the side), but my preference is the EVO with the wheels under the chair (like the one I have now, a Quickie GP).

N8, I was booted from the group and John has not reinvited me back.

I like the one N8 showed. Also why not just put some wheels on a lazy boy? It'd be a lot more comfy and I bet you could fit some niiice spinners!

Gotta consider medical insurance. I tried to get a cupholder covered and got denied because it was considered an accessory, not a medical need.

I've seen on tv that you can get one of those motorized "hoveround" things. They say its free, if your not covered, too.
