    Why wouldnt the 4.2 os for the GSM 7130 not work on the CDMA 7130?

    Don't know why it doesn't work but know it will not work. Hardware has to be at least a little different to pick up cdma rather than gsm.

    The radio function is part of the OS. DM recognizes if you have a CDMA or GPRS radio in your device. There may be a work around of sorts, but I don't think it would leave your device fully functional.

    ok its just so stupid an annoying that there would be a gsm for 7130 and not for cdma. I really miss some of the 4.2 options I had on my 8700c but I have to use the 7130e for work
