I cant find a CDMA version of 4.2 that would work with my 7130e from Verizon, I did see Telstra has version v4.1.0.364 and mine is v4.1.0.344 is there any benefit?

    Re: Upgrade worth it?

The only addition to the 4.2 from the 4.1 are the media capabilities basically. I have had the option of upgrading my 8703e to the 4.2 OS but I decided not too. I have heard quite a few people who do not like the 4.2 after upgrading and the extended media features are not that big of a deal to me. If they were, I would have purchased a different phone.

I'm sure there will be other opinions to this question as well though.

I just dont understand wht the gsm 7130 gets the 4.2 os upgrade but the cdma 7130 does not. Obviously the model itself can handle the os

I just don't think its released. I also think the hardware could handle it, but without media card access it really doesn't seem worth it.
