    Upgrade/Downgrade HELP!

After many times of upgrading and downgrading, I now am stumped with the desktop manager not recognizing any software for my 8310. Used JL to wipe, got the 507 code, deleted vendor.xml, and still no recognition. It's always worked before, but now nothing! Desktop shows pin and connectivity, but nothing will load.
I hate to bring up another upgrade/downgrade post but I've exhausted every option.

Did you try restarting your PC? You might need to uninstall DM and reinstall it.

Another thing, did you uninstall the previous OS? You must do that before installing the current OS.

Yeah, re-installed the DM and OS. What finally worked was downloading the original ATT version and used the vendor.xml. That never happened before. Maybe I'll keep the ATT vendor.xml and re-use it for other installs. Live and learn huh?
