Albeit basic, are you looking for something other than the Calendar option that already exists in your BB?
Is there any particular feature you are after?

As with most things, it depends on the usage you have in mind.

On a more generalised note, I'm surprised by the lack of freeware apps for the BB's. Considering the SDK/CDK's (whateva they're called!) are freely available and a simulator is also freely available I cannot understand why this is.

I have used RemindMe. It doesnt mix appointment or reminder with your blackberry calendar. It also has a faster feature if you want to remind yourself to call someone. I used it mainly to remind me of shows on TV or personal things that I wouldn't like to appear on my bb calendar.

Thanks! Guys...I want something similar to RemindMe...The bb calendar is great but it's lacking...RemindMe everything is on the screen and I think it pops up too on the date of reminder...Don't have much info on it though!! it cost $20....any info on the software??

I use RemindME. Bought it about a week ago. It's really good at what it does. Very simple program, quick to set up reminders as they come to mind. Exactly what I was looking for.

The only downside I have found so far is that I can't sync it to my pc so there's no backup of it anywhere. This was a problem for me when I removed another 3rd party app which caused my BB to reset. Resetting the BB cleared all my RemindME data - a real pain. Haven't yet found a way to fix this.

That said, I really like it as a quick reminder tool. Anything important still gets entered in calerdar or tasks as well so there's a back up on the pc...

I've been using RemindMe for about 7 months now and have to agree with Andrew. Great program but you can't back your data up. I did have mine just vanish one day for no reason.

I just don't like to clutter my Outlook calender with all the things I have to do every day. At my old age I tend to forget to do things.

does anyone know how to add an auto-snooze feature to the blackberry 8703e calendar? I need reminders to automatically go off again in 5 or 10 minutes if I am away from my phone and can't hear the reminders go off. I purchased the Remindme software, but it does not do it.

That's why you use Tasks and set due dates/times.
