    Reloading OS

I just installed new OS and am now having some problems so I would like to revert back to the original OS. Does anybody know how to do do this. During the installation of the new OS I did a back up but did this just back up personal data or the old OS.

Uninstall the new OS from the PC, install the old OS onto the PC. If the old OS is not from your carrier, delete the vendor.xml file located in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader folder and run desktop manager with the BB plugged into the PC. It will ask if you want to downgrade the OS, say yes and let it do its thing.

Backups store all database info, you need the OS installed in order to reload the backup. When you downgrade the OS it will keep your data.

First off, please update your profile so we know what OS, BB and carrier you are using. The more information that's in your profile the easier it is to help.
