.52 is by far the best one yet. It really cleaned up everything for me. I don't have any real issues.

I did a wipe, then installed .52 and it is working well for me, except for the camera issue, which I suspect will take a while to get taken care of.

I upgraded to 18.104.22.168 on my ATT 8100 and it's nice with one *huge* exception....The OS seems to hang with and hourglass for 2 min at a time when using various apps.

I've installed 4.5.052 rel 75 on an unlocked 8310 w/ T-mobile, and so far everything seems to work except the GPS. The GPS works, and I get a position, but when using instamapper or google maps, I often find my position recorded considerably off the mark - sometimes up to a thousand feet. If I view my position live on google maps, I see that the marker keeps moving. Is this par for the course on 4.2 or 8310 GPS in general, or is this a bug?
Otherwise, I don't have the camera problems other people have mentioned. Everything else works fine.

I doubt that's an OS bug, mine has a tendency to jump around at times too, usually mean satellites don't have a good lock on you. If you go out into a more open space, or just outside the building, it should work fine.

After I uninstalled the Help and TTY, my memory has been doing lots better!
Also, the auto dim function has decided to work correctly. It kept dimming even though I had the function off, so I just turned it on, save, then went back and turned it off and so far it is ok.
I still get the white screen after taking a picture but I guess I can live with that for now.
Any news on when AT&T will release it officially? My My Cast will not work until they officially release it. Sept is a long way off too!

Is there a way to tell if the file I downloaded to my PC is 126.96.36.199? When I go into delete the vendor file most everything says 188.8.131.52. Maybe it's just the build numbers? Just want to make sure I have the right thing. Thanks in advance for any help.

I was just added to the BETA eval for 4.5 on the VZW 8330. One quick issue I am having (as well as 2 co-workers that are testing), is that all of my 3gp files will not work with 4.5 OS.
Has anybody else had an issue with 3gp media files on the 4.5 OS? They work perfectly with 4.2.2 and 4.3.0.
