I am new BB User (Palm prior) and when I synch my BB w/ Outlook it messes up the Outlook Categories so that I can't view Outlook contacts by category. Anyone seen this before?

I have seen the BB sync remove the space between the , and the category name. And it does make Outlook Contacts by category screwy. But you can still search by category. RIM is aware of this I believe as someone mentioned having a ticket on it.

    Hope this helps, Rcbrj.

Found any way not to remove the space? It really messes up the Outlook Contacts. Takes extra steps during sync to make sure that Blackberry 8700c does not remove the space in Outlook.

This is exactly what happends to me. When the Handheld synchs with outlook it takes out the space between the , and the contacts. It messes up the entries in outlook and creates new mixed fields which are very troublesome. Any further progress on this issue?
