I once read on pinstack that the 4.3 os for the pearl was finally gonna be available Dec. 31st 2007, i was just wondering if that still gonna happen because i realli want to record on my bb.

when it comes out, someone will post a link right to the download... you don't have to ask or wonder if it was release. Just sit back and wait. All these rumors of dates are just that RUMORS. No one said a definitive date, because it's still in testing with RIM. In the meantime go read the other (MANY) threads about 4.3 and have some tea until it comes out.

Also on the 4.3OS the Pearl (8100) will not be able to record video. Sorry to let you know the bad news. Only the newer Pearls (Pearl 2-8130 and etc) and Curves will be able to record videos.

Of course the 8100 wont be able to record videos, why would they make the 8130 than? And i don't think the 4.3 OS will come out tomorrow but one day in 2008.

they would make the 8130 because it's for the CDMA networks
but I don't think that automatically implies the 8100 will never get video record... just highly doubtful right away.

Nor does it imply that it won't. The rumors have had it both ways from day one, so I guess we really won't know until it shows up.
