    Os 4.1?????

I just had a quick question about os 4.1 I just got a bb 7100g and have been crawling the forums to find this os. After days of searching I finally found a link sending me to the over seas os. Now im trying to install it but my app loader is saying that the file isn't compatible with my device or something like that. Are there any solutions for this problem or am I forced to wait for cingular to put up the os around the time hell freezes over?

    Re: Os 4.1?????

Carefull, I upgraded my 7100g Cingular and everything worked, except I loist my enterprise activation. I had to downgrade to 4.02 and then go back to the IT folks and request a new enterprise activation code.

Some of the OTA apps didn't come over and I had to DL them again, but other than that I have had a flawless 7100g transition. I never had the enterprise activation issue since I am not BES.

    Re: Os 4.1

I upgraded within weeks of becoming a new BB user. Scary but true.

I carefully checked the forums, checked and double checked for any issues that might crop up and ensured I did a full backup before commencing.
Everything went perfectly well. A few minor glitches with the themes, but this was resolved with another reinstall although it really didn't affect the usage so I needn't have done.

Incidentally, why do Vodafone seem to be one of few carriers that are dragging their heels about 4.1? Most others have this officially now. Are Vodafone more cautious for any particular reason?
