lol it's all good javatger. I think we can all come to the consensus that an official release is out for CDMA phones.

VZW should support it, as long as you delete the vendor.xml file. It shouldn't void your warranty as you can always downgrade back to your carrier's original OS, but if you're weary... then I would recommend not to download it.

- Minus the fact that for some reason there's a server error in downloading. It'll probably be cleaned up by tommorow.... at least here's hoping.

yep... just like any other os upgrade that's not your carrier's. There are plenty of posts here that gives detailed directions on how to upgrade/downgrade your OS

Like it was stated before, this will work on ANY 8130 and 8330 as long as you delete the vendor.xml file, even if you are not with MTS Mobility. Maybe since this is out, the other CDMA carries will be following with their versions soon. Also, as of this morning, it looks like the server error is still there. Is anyone able to get the file yer?

Ive got a 8330 with VZW, tempting but I think ill wait for them to release theirs. My luck I will screw up my phone and its working good except for the backlight dimming on its on and its set to off.
