    Loudness of 8310 on 4.5.0.55

I downloaded the new OS yesterday, and today I noticed that even on "loud" on my ringing volume, its still only about half as loud as my original OS 4.2.2.194. Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything I can do? I really like the upgrade, but I need my phone to ring LOUD. I work around milling machines.

Yeah, a lot of people have complained about this, chokem. Just something you'll have to deal with until you can get your hands on the .69 release or when the official one comes out in a few weeks.

What specifc ringtone are you referring to. I'm currently using 4.5.0.55 and i don't notice anything different. In the process of loading up 4.5.0.69 hope it dosen't affect this release.

All my rigtones, factory and custom are'nt nearly as loud. Since I posted this, Ive read that a lot of folks are having this issue. Oh well, it was still worth it.

Hey chokem, get the program called MP3Gain and just increase the volume level of your ring tones. Works perfect for me.

i haven't noticed the volume being low on mine.

Are you sure it's not the quality of the ringtone ?

Was it loud prior to the OS upgrade ?

Ringtones are an issue with all 4.5 OS versions out there. Even low using your media player.

It seems to be only affecting the users on the 8310.
