Hey im still new on the blackberry had mine for about 3 weeks now and i love it. Right now im using the calendar to mark down what needs to be done and stuff, but i don't really like how u have to make a newappointent and set a time, I just need something with a calendar view that i can list what needs to be done for that day.

    thanks arek

You can list things in task. Doesn't have a calendar. You might check handango if you are interested in paying for something.

    Re: Looking for

Welcome to the stacks. If you want Notifications, the only was is to use the calendar, or individual tasks, but you still need to set the time. If Notifications aren't important, then use notes.

Hope this helps and again Welcome.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~you can use the task pad. But here is a suggestion, go into the options of the calendar and tell it to show tasks. This will make it so the tasks you create show up on the calendar also. Works very well I think!

    Re: Looking for

So Knine, are you saying if you go into calender and "show tasks" all of your tasks will then appear in your calender? If so, I have had that option for a year and none of my tasks ever show in my calender.

EDIT: Because I didnt know what I was doing!

    Re: Looking for

Just tested it, and guess what, it works. You have to have a due date before it shows up and it is listed at the Due Date and Time, not the reminder time.

    Thanks Knine, good find.

    Re: Looking for

Awesome rich, thanks for letting me know exactly how to do it, and thank you knine for bringing this up. This is a huge deal for me, may seem small, but I depend on tasks and calender! Thanks again.

    Re: Looking for

On you BB go into a task, click trackwheel and you will see a due by date. If you put any date in there it will appear on your calender! Awesome find, wish I would have found this sooner.

    Re: Looking for

Now we need to see if a task created with a due date in Outlook will show up in the calendar when synced to the BB. Don't have time to experiment this morning, but if I remember I'll try it tonight.
