Some say it's best to download within what your carrier has released (I'm assuming in the sense that it would work best with your network). Yet, I have used various operating systems, some such as Singapore, and have not had trouble out of them. If you want to play it safe (in the sense that your coverage may be better), download whatever OS your service provider is providing. IMO, download whatever you want...it really makes no difference. Do note that if you call T-MO for support and they ask you what OS you're using, they really won't be able to help you if you're not using their release in most cases.

I see that TIM ITALY has the newest version for the 8300 I've seen. Can anybody tell me how it works with 3rd party apps and possibly the Surreal theme. This looks close to something I might actually try, depending on reports I see from other braver souls than myself.

Is this compatible with att 8310? I tried the singapore edition. But it just made my bb keep rebooting at random times.... I am currently running os 4.2.2.170.

Good catch, that is the latest I've seen for the Pearl. I'm going to try it out and see how it looks/works. Maybe this will have the white balance fixed for the camera.

    Nope.
Information should be free. Avoid trapping it in PMs/PINs if you can.

Does it fix the issue with your desktop icons resetting after every reboot?
