    I keep getting the error code 102 even after I load the software. I get the code about once a month?

    Blacc, I've lived with this on a regular basis since I got my 7100i in March 2006.

    I learned how to fix it using a utility called JL_Cmder.exe, found at another forum called www dot blackberryforums doc com. Go there and search on the term.

    BE SURE YOU'VE BACKED UP YOUR DATA BEFORE YOU USE THAT PROGRAM. I can't emphasize that enough. It wipes all data from the phone.

    It allows you to use Desktop Manager to reinstall your software. You then must restore your backup file.

    Nextel is authorizing replacement of 7100i's that produce this error. I'll be picking up my second new phone this evening.

    I just got my phone back from haveing the same jvm error it made me have a really bad weekend cause fedex doesn't ship on weekends and did have back file damn I shoulda learned from the broke trackwheel last month

    hey jtreeves, how did you go about getting your new blackberry? did you have to call up nextel and tell them? cause i get the same JVM error code at least once a month... thanks
