So far the only differences is there is a setup wizard like on the 8100, and the setup bluetooth icon appears to be a Generic icon but still functions.

Edit: There is also a Media Icon that includes ringtones/pictures.

The blackberry.alx file that is included needs to be modified some more there are no vendor id's for most of the themes.

So for those of you that know about editing the .alx check it out.

Not too sure yet will take some further investigation, as of right now there is nothing "BIG", I would suggest waiting if you are unsure for one of us to put out some sort of list of new features or likes/dislikes or a review before installing.

Fair warning to all. Make sure you have a good backup of your device before installing 4.2 on your 8700. Everyone I know who has tried 4.2 (its been floating around for over one month) reverted back to 4.1 after a couple of days. It had too many issues and was not very stable. However, this download may be a newer build and hopefully more stable. Consider yourself warned and be sure to take the appropriate steps to protect your data from loss.

I believe there is steps that need to be taken to put 8700 os on 8703 and vice versa.
