    http error 408...?

Hi...can anyone help me with this problem? I have been trying to upload an image to a website and I keep getting an error message that reads "http error 408: Time out:Browser request was too slow. Please try loading another page" or something to that affect. Sometimes the error message pops up almost immediately after I try to upload and it is really frustrating! Is there any way to get around this, so I can do what I'm trying to do? Thanks!

    Re: http error 408...?

408 is definitely a client error.

"The client did not produce a request within the time that the server was prepared to wait."

I think the data isn't send direct to server to which you want to upload. All data goes through RIMs gateways, means the file has to be uploaded completly to RIM and is then send to the real target, but the target is already waiting. It takes to much time and the real target is giving you a 408.

Try to lower the file-size, maybe then the upload time is smaller then the target servers timeout setting.

Save a new JPG with lowered quality. Therefor you need something like IrfanView. Don't know if it's the solution, but I would give it a try.
