    How to delete the welcome carrier picture

    Hi all

    I have a 8100 and eachtime it reboots a picture of the carrier brings up before it begins to work

    That's weird, I've never had that happen. Mine just comes up saying BlackBerry.

    If you are talking about the Carrier Branding image that is shown during the start up process, then it is true that it cannot be deleted or replaced by anyone but RIM.

    Unless you find a way to reflash the hardware. Or replace the circuit boards. Not really worth that much trouble.

    What do you mean my vendor ID? I have CellularOne if thats what that means.

    Press and hold the alt key while pressing EACE, The Vendor ID is given on the base cursor line.

    I'm pretty sure you can't change the vendor logo without being a hard-core chip programmer. It seems to be burned into the phone ROM.
