i am not sure if i am the one who though of this and looking at PS i would assume there are few of us who have thought about...

wouldn't it be sweet if we could load two Operating systems on one bb? Kinda like dual booting bb.... one OS can be for personal use and then by just rebooting we can switch to a different OS for personal use? eh ?

any one like this idea? if so, is it even possible?

not knocking your idea, but what would the advantage be in having two OS?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~the advantage could be if your bes restricts a lot of activity your personal os could give you free reign to do as you please with out breaking policies set by IT

I think that would terribly hard to do on a BB given our limited space. I would stil think the bes would somehow still attach itself to both OS's

Yes and just like if you company tracks your every movement "what you do with your phone" I'm kinda if-y about it!! Could be good or bad!! Depending on what you do on your BB....!~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Ya knowing IT ppl, they would only allow it on their corp BES if they had full control over the device...

But I could see how it would be useful, all you company apps and settings on one 'side' and all your personal settings, apps, and emails on the other....

They would have to actually invest in some onboard memory for a change...

i am thinking of it from a personal vs work aspect of it.. just like Mr.H said...

bes controls everything, and is it kinda annoying and carrying 2 bbs really doesn't make a lot of sense (at least for me) one is distracting enough (lol)

but i honestly think, if possible this would be an amazing idea,

may be thats why RIM never puts enough memory on their devices????

sounds good in theory, but probably not very practical to most users

its a good idea i think...to make the boss happy you would probably have to make it where the personal OS can not access any data from the business OS. it seems to me like a great idea.

That sounds like a good idea although it might be more of a possibility with the 9000 series cuz of the faster processor.
