The host routing table registers your unit to your specific providers network. In most cases this is never used more then the initial setup, but sometimes, re-registering the device can help some issues.

HRT controls the carrier services the device registering in the Carrier's HLR and VLR. It controls internet service BIS and also BES routing. Hope that helps.

Say you do an install of an operating system. When u boot ur device back up, it won't be registered to the network. Therefore if u reregister it u will get ur email accounts and browser back. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

hello my question is i was able to use my phone with BIS trough just wifi... im working in a boat and here i have wifi wich is great i can stay coneccted at home with it but after i upgrade the OS i lost the HRT for the wifi and everything is there any way that i can get them back ? i though that the backup take them tooo... now i dont have my BB messenger to talk home... is it possible anyway to do this ? im to far from land to get the signal to register the phone... them register to wifi... this time when i came i got the wifi60 HRT but now its lost hope to find a solution for this thanks guys |
