HELP - installed Gmail and got error :(

I got 7230 (with latest firware (full update)) and I went to gmail.com/app and got Gmail - but when I try to run I get:

    "uncaught exception net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessExceptio n"
I guess it must be some security at my or remote end any help?

    Thank you all...

Have you installed third party apps before? Have you asked the people responsible for controlling your BB?

No I just installed Google Maps - and it works fine
    > Have you asked the people responsible for controlling your BB?
Who would I ask? I bought this device at Walmart for use with my T-Mobile - and I do not have anyone I can ask
except, except just one place - and that is here I hope you or someone who may have any suggestion could tell me and it would be worth trying for me - then nothing at all...

The first thing you can try is to powercycle your phone and then try it again. I am new to this too, however the first thing I ask my Windows network users who come to me with a problem is "have you rebooted?".
