I just tried the MSN Link, and after finally getting to the website on my BB 8703e, it tells me that my hardware is not supported. So currently it's probably still only avaliable for certain people using certain devices to test out.

Anyone have an update as to when RIM will support these, particularly AIM?

As seen in the screenshots, these are going to be available in the following locations (subject to change) once they are released (again, subject to carrier compatibility and exclusivity agreements):

    MSN: www.blackberry.com/msnmessenger
    AIM: www.blackberry.com/aim
    ICQ: www.blackberry.com/icq

NOTE: These are NOT available for download, for use, or anything along those lines. Even if you had the clients loaded on your handhelds, THEY WOULD NOT WORK! NO REQUESTS!

RIM servers are not yet supporting this. That's why even with the service book it will not work. Hopefully RIM and the carriers will soon support them.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ It's just a matter of waiting. I'm looking forward to them being released. I really like jivetalk but if I'm using the today theme I don't know when I have a message unless I go to the menu. I'm looking forward to a small icon like bb messenger and yahoo.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Read the reply to your other post. That's why no one has the service books to be added to the alx files.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ When the service books are pushed you will have to go to Options, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table and register your device on the network. Then go to your setup internet email icon on your BB. Click on Send Service Books. Click on OK. Then remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, and then put it back in. But wait until the books have been made available.
