    Dumb Question but asking anyway.......

When I got my Curve I bought it simply by how great this phone is and it is a great phone but when I got it I didn't ask this question so now in front of thousands of people out in the open here where everyone can see here goes.......(*grin*)
What is the difference between a GSM and a CDMA?
Also I already have the beta upgrade o 4.5.0.77 on a 8330 Curve and all is running great, but is this .81 upgrade available for Sprint users and is it worth it to upgrade? Is there any difference between the .77 and .81?

Not a dumb question at all!

Here is a pretty good explanation for your perusal.

The .81 OS is an upgrade for GSM devices. I believe the .77 you have for your 8330 is the latest release for that device.

LOL! I know what you mean.

Probably the most important information in the article to understand about the two different technologies is in the two paragraphs about SIM cards.
