    Only download the OS that's for your device. Don't upgrade 8310 if the OS is for 8120/8320. It doesn't matter where it comes from though.

    Hey jblackfish,
    You seem to be the resident authority. Is there any real reason to install every update as it comes out? I see that 4.5.0.75 is out now.
    It sure would be nice if they would tell us what is in the new version over the old one.

    I'm no expert but I just upgraded from .52 to .55. I try 'em but they aren't all better than the previous IMO. .55 has a few too many issues for my taste. I'm in the process currently of going back to .52.

    I also wish there was a list of "what's new" in each release. Right now, since these things are being released all over the place (world) I don't think that's a realistic wish. Hope that helps answer your question.

    UPDATE: You can see the progress of .55 in this thread.

    Os Upgrade Problems With 8320

    Hi EXPERTS;
    I have a humangous problem. i upgraded my BB8320 from 4.2 to 4.5. it loaded the OS onto the device and when it was about to reboot, it got stuck. that is where it has ended. i tried several times by making my firewall off, antivirus off but no success. at present the device cannot operate and would only show the red light blinking.

    any idea how to go about? HELP NEEDED GUYS
