make sure you delete the vendor file and you should be good to go.

    Upgrade working fine now

Bobboya - did you re-register on the network, resend your service books, and reset your TCP/APN? Make sure you do that to get your browser, email, and third party apps working.
Melissaox, yes, I did re-register, resend the service books, and reset the TCP/APN. I don't know why I had those problems after the first attempt at the upgrade. But, as I indicated, when I wiped the BB and reinstalled, all was working. Well, I have't really tried Flickr, and maybe I won't, based on what others have said.

And, yes, Tmo 8320's work with the new OS, as that is what I have. Do a full backup, and the wipe the BB, before installing the new OS.

I just updated with no problems. My short cuts work. I'm not experiencing the problems you are with my tmo curve.

Jeeeeeeeeze the browser's fast, much faster than beta. The folder icons are missing (bad news) and preloaded images are also missing (good news as they irritated me hehe). My Wi-Fi works wonderfully fast. Overall a good upgrade. Just need to figure out those folder icons lol.

Why does 4.5 OS think I have a new BB??? The versions I have tried think my BB is a new BB and put my BB Messenger contacts in a group called Pending PIN Updates. I might wipe my BB and go back to 4.3

I downloaded this, went to the program and common files and deleted the XML vendor file and then downloaded it.... I went to the app loader and it's not recognizing any updates??? I've done about 3-4 os upgrades not sure what I'm doing wrong.

do you already have a beta .52 installed? It is the same OS. It won't come up as an upgrade.

That's correct. If you were running .52 beta this will not be recognized as an upgrade. You'd have to wipe the bb and do a clean install of the official orange uk .52 os. Working perfectly on my t-mo 8320.
