can't remove PTT on ATT 8100

I upgraded my OS to the latest (4.2.1.108), making sure I deleted the vendor.xml and everyhting installed fine. When I tried to delte the PTT feature as I had in the past - by renaming all the ptt.cod files - nothing happened when I re-connected the phone to Desktop Manager (I am running DM 4.3).

Anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be able to get the DM to recognize the changes I made to all the PTT files and get them removed?

Open the BlackBerry.alx file and do a search (Find or Find Next) in it for _ptt and remove the code that installs it. Rerun DM and walk through the Application Loader and it should remove it. Just renaming the file will not remove the app since it is already on the BB.

I suggest you back up the BlackBerry.alx file first so you can reinstall if needed.
