Important:
For those of you having problems with the installation process and you have color pearl installed, it is because color pearl is incompatible with the 4.5 OS! Uninstall Color Pearl before continuing!

Note:
This is officially released for Vodaphone Germany 8100. It can also be installed on other 8100 BlackBerry smartphones from other carriers, however your carrier and RIM does not offer support for alternate carrier OS upgrades. Unless you are an advanced user it is recommended to wait for the official release from your carrier.

Are you kidding?! The update is huge! It includes better browsing, better media player, html email, documents 2 go, new theme support (including L theme that works), and other stuff. That's only to name a few updates.

Any OS from any carrier is useable on any BB device. Just make sure you delete the vendor XML file.

Ok, how do i delete the XML file, and will it cause any sort of change with my T-Modile things, such as T-Zones or anything related?

Nope, I don't think, but if it does, who cares! 4.5 is worth it. Need a good free IM? Get palringo. T zones? When do you use it?
