After you install the beta can you then take it off to move up to the official release when it comes out?

I had 4.5 on my 8310 also and the icon issue drove me crazy enough to go back to the prior version. Every time I did a reset, not only would the icons all be un-hidden but they were also out of order. So each time after a reset I had to re-hide (one by one) and re-arrange the icons. The other problem I had was with Empower Pro, which was unable to read html in the body of an email...and only could read text format in the body of the email.

The O2 sites says April 08, as in 2008 not the 8th. So it looks like as long as it's out by April 30th, they're still "on time". 20 more days.

phones bricked at the moment. Everything was fine until it went into the infinite loop crap.
Did all the fancy resets and reloads and wipes. Nothing helps. I'm not done trying though.

Nope totally bricked. Constant reset loop. LAME. Tmobile is sending me another through the RMA dept.

I loaded 4.5, it worked great for about 2 hours. Then my phone went into a constant reset. I had to wipe my phone with jl cmdr and reinstall my old os. Guess ill wait for the official version.

Probably because they don't want to be responsible for wrecking your device or for distributing the software illegally. Probably.
