I would suspect that now that there's other applications native to the phone that the battery will drain faster, especially with enhanced email and browser...I am sure we will see that problem with the official release.

So I loaded 4.5.0.10 on my 8300 and DM has been on 'Wait for device initialization' for about 20 minutes. The thing is, about 5 minutes ago I checked and the device is actually booted up and usable - but the data hasn't been restored. So, naturally, I'm going to wait to see if I can ever get off of the 'Wait for device initialization' step, but I'm a little wary of getting stuck here.
    Has anyone had this problem?

NO, never unplug it until it says finish. Be patient. It takes about 45 min to initialize.

I would say more like an hour. It depends on the applications you have and the amount of data to backup and restore to the device. I read somewhere that they had to wait up to 2 hours.

    About the questions:

    1. Most recent OS (Singapore).
    2. Too many. Opera Mini, LogicMail, Google Talk, jMIRC, BBWeather, WeatherEye (it doesn't get my zone data), Google Maps, Google Sync, Unyverse, JabpLite and lots of games. :P
    3. Of what use is that for anybody here?
    4. Telefónica (Movistar)
    5. 4.5.0.10 plt-2.7.0.40 running on 8300

In any case I like the new OS. It has some nice features and a sleeker style. I'm missing something or the HTML mail support isn't available yet?! Wasn't supposed that the carriers had to update their platform for it to be available?

Ummm perhaps those of us that are trying to find a fix for the youtube issue? Why do you have to be such a jerk about it?

I was talking about the wait time at the 2nd device initalization part of the install. Not the total time to do the install.
