Those that are running the 4.5 beta--in here please

Ok, I have noticed that We all have different "problems" and others don't have those same "problems"....

1- were you running the most current OS for your device BEFORE the OS upgrade to 4.5?

2- can you list the third party applications that are currently on your phone?

3- what r your TCP settings?

    4- Who is your carrier?

5- please list the full version and platform that you are running.

Let's see if We can figure out these bugs before RIM and so that our fellow stackers know what a probable cause/fix will be if they run into the same problems with the release when it comes out.

This post isn't to ask for help with your "bugs"...you can PM for that...this is so We can get a good run down of what potiential issues are.

    Thanks!

I don't have seen any bugs or problems so far, runs fast and stable, so I'm very satisfied with 4.5. I like the new view of emails and contacts and the improved browser.

    1. I was running the most recent TIM 8310 OS before the upgrade

    2. Wikipedia, Ascendo Data Vault, Ascendo Money, some Google apps. Best practice seems to be to reinstall all 3rd party apps after the 4.5 upgrade to avoid permission problems.

    3. My provider's wap settings

    4. A1 (Austria)

    5. 4.5.0.10 (Platform 2.7.0.40) (BB8310)

Two of my favourite apps are not working with 4.5: Soft Reset by GeekandProud and Opera Mini 4.1 beta. But as the BB browser is improved in 4.5 I can live well without Opera Mini.

For those with memory leaks, there are always going to be slight decreases in memory depending how much much you store on your phone as opposed to a memory card. But I have noticed that Viigo is a HUGE memory killer because it is always running and updating itself with newer feeds. I had to get rid of it and my memory has been pretty much at the same level since.
    मुझे इस बात की और हमेशा की जा!

So for the most part it seems as if we have a "normal" OS from RIM....we have seen all of these problems on new phone releases. Cool.

Phone would freeze anythime a memory card was used, I could turn off memory card support in options and it would be fine, as soon as i enable it the phone would freeze after a min or 2. this was the case with both my 8310's att branded.
