I don't know. Mine took the picture. It threw the Java error when it would try to autosave the picture.

    Guy's-

The camera icon you are seeing next to the zoom is the flash indicator. Flash goes off when it's on...no flash required it's not there. Dynamic flash sensing

Yeah same thing. But why would it throw that error in the program before we even take a pics. I thought it was just a problem after we took a pic but it seems like it is more.

Really. Didnt know that. But I have my flash turned off so why is it throwing it up. It appears sometimes then disappears.

Edit: I guess its a waiting game until someone figures it out.

It's telling you you need flash for the light level. Turn your flash on. Turn the lights down in your room. hold the camera infront of your monitor and then away you will see it change. Takes about a second and a half to register the light condition.

The flash icon is a thunderbolt looking thing. It has an "A" superimposed over it if the flash is set to automatic, the "slash" symbol if its turned off, and just the bolt if its turned on.

If the dynamic flash sensing you are talking about now has an icon, its new with this upgrade, my old OS didn't have it.

Thank goodness for restore, but it sure takes forever...

Oh okay. Never noticed it before. Thanks for explaining.

I guess its a waiting game now until someone figures out the camera problem then.

    MY Bad!!!!!

I figured it out.. The exclamation mark is indicating slow shutter speed based on light conditions and that you may get a blurry pic if you are not VERY steady!!!!!! I was sort of right with the first answer... That and $1.50 will get me a cup of coffee (if I drank coffee)

OS upgrades can take a looooooooooooooong time. Just leave it alone, let it do its thing. It'll come back up. Since you've got spinning hourglass, I'd say its just fine.
